Moving forward, the children, youth and family programs will be called "Mamow Kahdoodamin" which translates into "Do it together" or "Work together."

The program is to assist our youth and young adults facing independence with necessary life skills.
This program requires the participants to complete daily or weekly tasks and responsibilities. The program focuses on youth and their independence, by learning essential skills and daily responsibilities.
The program is to provide children in care with a safe place to receive academic assistance, while also building positive relationships in a safe and supportive environment.
To assist our Island Lake urban youth or young adults with the necessary employment and life skills required of them in their adulthood.
The program is to build up positive relationships and enhance individual strengths.
The program can assist parents/grandparents with the necessary cultural and life
skills.
The program is to focus on physical literacy and the wellbeing of their mental and physical health.
The 5 days workshops are to assist our Island Lake youth or young adults with necessary money management skills.
The program is to ensure that our youth have the opportunity to discover their purpose in life, while learning indigenous teachings. Youth will create their own story booklet and family scrapbook.
The purpose of the training is to learn leadership skills, teamwork, and public speaking skills to become the future leaders of the Island Lake community.
This 6-week training will provide a combination of classroom learning, wrap-around services, skills, and hands-on work in the Harvest Manitoba warehouse distribution
facility.
